What strikes you first when visiting the church is the love and genuine welcome you receive.  It is not struggling to compete with larger more contemporary churches that can provide the latest repertoire of worship songs and a full programme for all ages, but with its limited resources it is a good local fellowship where the teaching is sound and uplifting and where your individual needs are prayerfully embraced.

Open to the working of the Holy Spirit, in the individual’s life and the church as a whole, it seeks to hear from God through the diversity of His gifts and to minister the power gifts of healing and deliverance. Philip Edwards is a retired pastor (Hope Community Church, Greenford), who now teaches in churches across the London area and makes regular appearances on Revelation TV. Phil runs a weekly bible study and preaches approximately twice a month at Sewardstone Church.
